23.07.15 // LASER DRUM KIT INSTALLATION AT
NATIONAL MEDIA MUSEUM BRADFORD

On Thursday the 23rd of July I descended into Brixton tube station with three large bags. For the first time I was carrying my entire laser drum kit on my person without the help of a taxi. Poised like a creaking set of scales I was relived to emerge from the subterranean depths at Euston where I caught a train to Manchester.

That evening I arrived in Bradford after a drive through the breath-taking northern parts of the Peak District.
As signs pointed out, this was Bronte Country and most are familiar with this idyllic scenery from film 'The Princess Bride'.

The National Media Museum was running a 'Lates' event for adults in Bradford. They had seen me perform at the London Science Museum and had been in touch to arrange an installation of my homemade laser drum kit to draw crowds to their Light themed 'Lates' event.

Preparing for the event, I'd practiced my track 'Monkey' and cover versions of Usher 'Yeah!' and The White Stripes 'Seven Nation Army' to teach attendees.

It was a fun night!
